Mike Rapson is the Co-Founder of Fortress Protection Group and a former law enforcement professional with extensive frontline experience dealing with violent offenders, organized crime, and high-risk situations.

 

During his policing career, Mike worked in specialized roles involving covert surveillance operations and investigations targeting violent criminals and organized networks responsible for residential break-ins. He also worked closely with the Hold-Up Squad, conducting surveillance operations and assisting in investigations targeting suspects involved in armed robberies and home invasions. This work required advanced operational planning, situational awareness, and a deep understanding of how criminals identify and exploit vulnerabilities in homes and daily routines.

 

Mike also served as a K9 handler, responding to high-risk calls and assisting in dangerous arrests and critical incidents where tactical decision-making and officer safety were paramount.

 

Through these experiences, he gained firsthand insight into how criminals select targets, test security weaknesses, and exploit gaps in residential and commercial security.

 

Today, Mike brings that real-world knowledge to Fortress Protection Group, where the company focuses on proactive security and physical fortification solutions designed to prevent violence and forced entry before they occur. He works with homeowners, businesses, financial institutions, and schools to implement protective measures such as security window film, reinforced door systems, and other defensive upgrades that make buildings significantly harder targets.
